The litigation division of the firm which provides such services to the firm’s general corporate clients, and is also retained specifically for its litigation capacity, handles a variety of matters, including the whole range of corporate, commercial and security litigation, and securities arbitrations, shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate foreclosures, foreclosures of security interests and intellectual property disputes. We have considerable expertise in federal securities litigation, arbitration and counseling. Over the years, we have tried numerous securities arbitrations with a notable success rate. In addition, we have represented brokers in negotiating (or litigating) their terminations with their employers and have drafted and negotiated agreements with their new employers. We have also represented individuals, companies and brokerage firms in connection with investigations by the New York Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm represents both plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in administrative, regulatory, and arbitration forums.
